Spider Plant – Chlorophytum Comosum Ocean (Mini)

Scientific Name: Chlorophytum Comosum

Also known as:

  • Airplane Plant
  • Spider plant
  • Spider ivy
  • Ribbon plant
  • Bernard’s lily

Spider Plant  is an evergreen perennial indoor plant.

Spider Plant is particularly good at filtering Formalde. Xyle and Tolue.

Spider Plant is one of the best air purifying plant.

The Spider Plant has been grown indoors for many years and is one of the most common office and houseplants. It grows quickly.

In spring and summer, the trailing stems produce small white flowers followed by tiny plantlet.

While mostly used in containers or hanging baskets for attractive display, they can also be planted directly in the ground, but need to be sheltered from direct sunlight, as they prefer some shade. Direct sunlight can scorch their leaves.

Indoors, a bright window that gets indirect sun is ideal for the plant.

Water spider plant once every 10 days with 250ml of water (about half a cup).

Warm, humid conditions are ideal for spider plants, so they would be great in a kitchen or a bathroom, as long as they are getting sufficient light.

Non-poisonous to pets.

(Flowering plants only blossom naturally in their respective seasons. Fruit-bearing plants only produce fruits naturally during their growing seasons. All plants are sold in generic nursery pots, and may naturally vary in colors/sizes from the exact images illustrated above.)
