Sea Lettuce Plant (Scaevola Taccada) is an evergreen outdoor shrub ‎or small tree.

Sea Lettuce Plant (Scaevola Taccada) is an erect, spreading, somewhat succulent, soft-wooded, pithy stems. Their leaves are very simple and crowded at tips of stem and alternatively closed. And their blooming flowers are from white to pale lilac coloured occurring only in their season, emerging in clusters at axils, containing 5 petals spread alike into the lower lip. Full grown Sea Lettuce plant followed by flowers, also bears white fruits throughout the year.


Care and Growth:

Soil: grow best in sandy well-drained soil.

Light: Full Sun, Place in a bright room that is sun drenched almost all day. Or directly in a south-facing window if placed indoor.

Water: Make sure watering is done once the soil goes dry. Although the soil can remain moist, but it should not turn soggy/wet.

Temperature: Ideal temperature for their health is 20 to 35 degree Celsius.

Fertilizer: Fertilise the plant once a month in summers, however don’t feed any fertiliser in winters.
