Care & Growth:

Watering:

Water regularly when plants are in growth (April to September), but more sparingly when dormant (autumn and winter). Allow the top of the compost to slightly dry out before watering again

Light:

Chlorophytum require bright, indirect light. While it will tolerate some shade; this will slow its growth-rate and it may lose its stripes. Avoid direct sunlight.

Temperature:

Keep moderately moist and temperatures above 45°F. Ideal temperatures are between 55° and 70°.

Feeding:

There is no specific spider plant fertilizer. Any all-purpose, complete, water-soluble or granular time-release fertilizer suitable for houseplants is acceptable.

Medical Importance:

Spider plant helps clean indoor air. Studies have shown that spider plant is quite effective in cleaning indoor air by absorbing chemicals
