Botanical Name: Hibiscus Tiliaceus
Also known as:

- Sea Hibiscus
- Coastal Hibiscus
- Sea Rosemallow
Beach Hibiscus (Hibiscus Tiliaceus) is a board leaf evergreen shrub or small tree plant.
Care and Growth:
Light: In order to bloom well, Sea Hibiscus Trees require full sun. They will tolerate partial shade; however, growth rate is slower and leaves will be larger.
Soil: Hibiscus Tiliaceus needs well drained soil that contain organic matter.
Water: Water newly planted bushes each day to set up the root gadget in the surrounding soil. Sea Hibiscus is drought tolerant as soon as established; seasonal rains will grant enough moisture.
Temperature: Hibiscus tiliaceus can grow in full sun or light shade exposure. They are tropical plants that do not resist temperatures below 12 ºC.
Fertilize: Fertilize with compost in late winter and with mineral fertilizer once a month during spring and summer.
(Flowering plants only blossom naturally in their respective seasons. Fruit-bearing plants only produce fruits naturally during their growing seasons. All plants are sold in generic nursery pots, and may naturally vary in colors/sizes from the exact images illustrated above.)
