The Fiddle-leaf fig is a species of flowering plant in the mulberry family and is native to western Africa, where it grows in lowland tropical rainforests. it’s attractive semi-lobed and oval-shaped leaves, which all seem to grow to different sizes.
The plant features very large, attractive semi-lobed, and violin-shaped leaves that grow into different sizes.
As these plants are native to the tropics, they thrive in warm and humid conditions.
Fiddle leaf plants are known for being a relatively tough plant that can withstand less-than-ideal conditions for a fairly long time.
Fiddle-leaf figs blossom in bright, yet indirect sunlight. Direct sunlight can burn the leaves, especially exposure to hot afternoon sun.
Any quality indoor plant potting mix should be suitable for a fiddle-leaf fig. Make sure that the soil can drain extra water.
Fiddle-leaf figs like a moderate amount of moisture in the soil. During the growing season (spring to fall), water your plant when the top one inch of soil feels dry. And over the winter months, water when the top 2 inches are dry.
