Lady Palm (Rhapis Excelsa) is slow-growing plant is native to Southeastern Asia, common in southern China and Japan. Wild plants can also be found in Vietnam. The Lady Palm is a great plant to grow in your garden. It can also be grown indoors, both in homes and offices. It is tolerant of various types of climates, so it can be used all around the world. It adapts easily to a wide range of different soils, climates and environments, which makes it a great house and garden plant for all plant growers.

Care and Growth: 

Light: The Lady Palm thrives in most light conditions, except direct sunlight. The plant is also shade tolerant, making it ideal for homes and offices.

Soil: Lady Palms are grown best with a rich, well-drained soil and a slightly acidic pH level.

Water: Do not over water. Standing water in the soil will only promote root rot. It can tolerate dry periods, but keep them short. Lady palms prefer sol that is constantly moist.

Temperature: It is almost impossible to upset the temperature of the Broad leaf Lady Palm. It will happily tolerate temperatures from 20-100°F (-6-37°C)

Fertilizer: Lady palms only need fertilization during the growing season. From around April to September, feed your palm monthly with liquid houseplant fertilizer diluted to half strength.
