Pachira Twisted Trunk

Pachira Twisted Trunk is native to the tropical regions of Central and South America down as far as northern Brazil. The name comes from an old Guyanese Indian language and roughly means ‘sweet water nut’. In the wild, the plant prefers to grow in places where rivers regularly breach their banks.

How often should you water a pachira plant?
Be sure to water consistently, ideally 1 – 2 times per week depending on humidity. Water all the topsoil, just until the water starts leaking out the drain holes. For optimal longevity, lightly fertilize the Pachira aquatica 3 – 4 times a year with a water-soluble fertilize
