Travelers Palm (Ravenala Madagascariensis) is popularly called a palm but is not a palm instead a close relative of the banana plant. It is considered to be one of nature’s most spectacular trees and is a supreme accent plant. These plants grow to be enormous, with huge leaves sprouting from a long stems in a flat, fan-shaped pattern like a peacock’s tail.
