Wax Palm (Copernicia Alba) is a cycads outdoor palm plant.

Wax Palm (Copernicia Alba) is not well known in cultivation and is considered rare. The origin of the Wax Palm is Bolivia, Paraguay, Brazil, and Argentina.The Caranday Palm is a stunning palm that could be used as a standalone focal point or can be grouped together using two to three for a stand out specimen. This palm is gaining popularity in many regions.

Care and Growth: 

Soil: Wax Palm plants need well drain moist soil.

Light: Wax Palm Grow best in full light to partial shad.

Temperature: The minimum temperature Caranday Palm can tolerate is 25 F when mature enough. It is great for USDA zones 9b (25 to 30 F) to 11 (above 40 F).

Watering: This plant should be watered regularly. During sunny periods watering every day. During less sunny periods watering once every 3 days, unless it has rained.

Fertilizer: To prevent any deficiency you should apply a good quality palm fertilizer that has a continual release formula twice a year.
